Dallahan and Jo Mango come together for a special double bill at the Old Bridge Inn, bringing two outstanding Scottish acts to one intimate stage.
Dallahan are one of Scotland’s most acclaimed contemporary folk bands. Drawing on Scottish and Irish traditions while weaving in influences from the Balkans and North America, their music is adventurous, energetic and full of virtuosity. Having toured across 25 countries and appeared at festivals including Celtic Connections, Milwaukee Irish Fest and Woodford Folk Festival, they’ve built a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts on the international folk circuit.
Opening the evening is Jo Mango, performing songs from The Lightswitch, her first solo album in twelve years. One of Scotland’s most respected songwriters, Jo has collaborated with artists including Teenage Fanclub, Karine Polwart and Admiral Fallow, and her new work explores memory, place and rediscovery through beautifully crafted, atmospheric songs. Expect a stripped-back performance where every lyric and melody has room to breathe.
From Jo Mango’s intimate songwriting to Dallahan’s exhilarating world-folk sound, this promises to be a memorable evening in one of the Highlands’ most unique live music venues.
With just 70 seats available, this is a rare opportunity to experience both performances up close in an intimate, seated setting.
