After New Year was outlawed last year, we can't wait to put things right.

This year we are throwing a free outside party, with music from Shaka Loves You, The Wook and OC.  Expect Disco, funk, house and whatever other flavours come to mind in the moment.

The party will be centred around The Shelter over the road from OBI, where we are in the process of permanently fitting lights, heaters and speakers.  This is a perfect space for our DJs and dancers to make merry.

It is impossible to make a definite plan for the lower part of our beer garden, which many of you will know is liable to flooding, but hopefully we will position our outside bar here, plus have a bonfire and a generally nice zone for hanging out in.

If it's underwater, then we won't have a fire and we'll move the bar up to street level somewhere....but The Shelter...is..erm..sheltered, so the party will go ahead no matter the weather.

As Covid is still very much among us, to manage numbers, from 4pm, inside OBI will be open only to diners and bunkhouse guests to hang out, though you will still be able to pick up drinks from the bar to take outside. 

 Our patio area will also be open to drinkers, where we are currently working on some new features to make more room for you all, including more heat, seats and cover.

We'll be offering a set menu for £55 per head. Children over 12 are welcome at the earlier sitting, though all under 18s must be out by 9pm.
