From the exquisite Hogget and port stew, with anchovy dumplings and mint oil, or the sumptous scallops, artichoke puree, crisp bacon and fondant leeks, to the more traditional, but equally luxurious, Fish pie, or the tenderest Rib-eye steak that money can buy, eating at the Old Bridge satisfies both those on a quest for new experiences and those looking for that home-cooked, comfort laden feel good factor.

Drawing on a culinary career boasting stints in eatieries from London to Glasgow, The Alps to the Americas, head chef and co-owner Steven Matson's CV also notes roles as personal tour chef to Paul McCartney, REM, Jack Johnson and Ben Harper, amongst others.  We're delighted to say we share their appreciation of Stevie's locally sourced, freshly cooked, mouth wateringly tasty treats.

Enjoy your supper with service from friendly, knowledgable, enthusiastic staff (including OBI's three other co-owners), in our romantic candle-lit conservatory, or by the fire in the cosy bar area.
